Ware & Goodman LLP was formed in January 2006 by Robert C. Ware and Elisabeth C. Goodman with offices in Williamstown and Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Robert Ware had a well-established practice in Williamstown for more than ten years before establishing the new firm. Elisabeth Goodman worked for the state government and as the Berkshire counsel for a small Boston law firm prior to starting the new firm. Both are practitioners with more than twenty years of experience who combine specialized expertise and general practice experience.

Our attorneys are experienced in a diverse range of legal areas. We regularly assist clients with estate planning and the probate of estates. We are experienced conveyancers, who perform complex title examinations and represent individuals and corporations in the purchase and sale of real estate. We advise on complex zoning, subdivision and permitting matters relating to development projects throughout Berkshire County. We represent businesses in corporate matters and nonprofit corporations. We represent our clients in general litigation in the Land Court, Berkshire Superior Court, Housing Court and in the District Court.
